Is FutureNet a Scam? (Do You Have a Future With It?)

If you come across a company that offers you supposedly amazing tools that can help you expand your business and make it successful, it will surely pique your interest, right?

That is exactly the promise FutureNet offers if you join the company.

But is FutureNet a scam or a reliable source of income?

Honestly, there are different opinions about this out there, so I will not say outright if this company is a scam or legit, but in this FutureNet review, I will give you all the info you need so you can judge for yourself whether it is worth getting into for YOU.

In this article, I will give you both the advantages and the disadvantages if you become a member of FutureNet. More importantly, I will list down the things you need to consider, so you will have a guide before deciding to join or not.

What is FutureNet and what does it offer?

FutureNet is an online platform that provides purportedly helpful tools for you to grow your business and help you become successful.

It operates in the multi-level marketing niche.

The company maintains a list of digital products it sells to you, which you, in turn, sell to your customers and recruits. We will discuss more of this in the marketing plan below.

These same products you will sell are the ones that you also use to build and supposedly grow your business.

In theory, it sounds great, right? But to have a better idea about what this really means, let’s go over its list of products and how the business opportunity will be for you if you join.

What products does it offer?

A click on what the website claims as the “best products” that “will let you develop your true marketing potential,” is a bit of a downer to me, to be honest.

It is a bit confusing to find out what they actually offer but let me try to make it a bit clearer.

The description of FN Travel (FN must be the acronym of FutureNet), FN Academy, FN Cloud, and FN Social Media which are at the forefront of the product line, are generic, in my opinion.

FN Travel looks like Booking.com or Expedia.com by another name, FN Academy is to Udemy but on a smaller scale, FN Cloud is to Google Cloud, and FN Social Media is similar to Facebook or Skype.

I’m sure you are already familiar with those websites, so I will not discuss them anymore here.

The important thing, for now, is to know that these are the lines of businesses you can use to earn on FutureNet.

Later I will go more into how the earning opportunities work.

But let me also just explain some other products they also offer to give you a full overview.

Besides the four internet products, there are several other products that can be accessed through their product catalog. Here are some of them:

Product Sample 1 – FuturoTrader and FN Power App

These are what FutureNet calls its business apps. Futuro trader is a trading app for cryptocurrency much like the one offered by IQ Option.

FN Power App is a program that contains training, instructions, and advice supposedly to improve the members’ business.

Please note that you need to purchase a monthly subscription of $99 for you to enjoy their services.

Product Sample 2 – FutureAdPro

This is the company’s advertising platform. Immediately, you are reminded here of Google Ads and other similar applications.

Product Sample 3 – FuturoPay

FutureNet boasts that this is its innovative system allowing its members to manage and receive payments in a cryptocurrency. This is nothing like PayPal, in my opinion.

Aside from the above, there are other online applications that appear like duplicates of other more popular applications available on the internet today.

It’s worth noting also that its support app comes with an upgrade called Premium Support, which is available for monthly subscriptions depending on the variant you will choose.

Overall, you would get the impression that FutureNet has produced digital platforms and applications that are already widely available – most of them for free – given them names and housed them in one roof.

Honestly, I personally find the portfolio of products a little confusing but that does, of course, not mean it can not be worth getting into.

What will really decide this is how good your chances are of creating a successful and legit income by joining.

How to join FutureNet?

Before getting deeper into how you can actually earn on FutureNet, let’s first go over how you can join and the different memberships as these are important to understand as they will affect your earnings.

Opening an account with FutureNet is not easy as it requires you to have a sponsor. This means you need to be invited by someone to join.

The account is free, but you need to be aware that if you want to earn commissions and bonuses and build your online business, you need to purchase any of the six product packages: FN10, FN25, FN50, FN100, FN500, and FN1000.

The reason behind the option of six product packages is each package has corresponding value, price point, Media Points (MPs) and, more importantly, your position in the sales organization.

If you’re wondering what FND means, it is the money system of the company called FutureNet Dollar. One FND is equivalent to 1 US dollar.

Buying the lower-priced package gives you a lower rank, while the expensive packages entitle you to higher positions supposedly giving you more leeway to expand your business and earn money in the process.

If you have been into the MLM industry, this type of membership system is a regular fixture.

There’s a catch in the scheme of FurtureNet, though: if you buy a more expensive package, you need to buy all the packages below it.

Thus, if you choose to buy, say, FN500 hoping to jump ahead in the totem pole, you need to buy all the other packages below FN500, and so on.

Purchasing any of the packages gives you the title of independent marketing associate or IMA. Getting the title does not give you any substantial benefit yet other than access to the platform and some services in it.

To qualify to receive commissions and bonuses from your sales organization you will build, you need to be an active IMA. Being an active IMA means you need to comply with the following basic requirements:

You will easily notice that your spending does not end with the purchase of the product package.

You need to maintain a monthly subscription of $99. Besides that, you need to be active in its social media platform posting photos, comments, or using the messaging app. The more active you are the more points you earn.

You also need to be active in the recruitment department, enrolling at least two customers or sponsoring IMA’s a month.

In case you want to know, there are two classes of recruits – customer and IMA.

The former does not build a business with the company. They are just plain users of the products. The IMAs build the MLM business.

So your membership type and your ability to recruit others will greatly affect your earnings. But let’s go a bit more into how else you can earn as a member of FutureNet.

How do you earn?

Being an MLM company, FutureNet’s income for its IMA’s comes from basically two sources – sales of digital products and recruitment.

It, however, added one more stream – activity in the social media platform.

This is quite an unusual feature and I have seen very different opinions about this, and I myself am not convinced about how great an idea it is.

There are so many great social networks out there today so it maybe seems overambitious to try to create a new one based on MLM principles and at the same time have all these other types of businesses.

That is just my opinion anyway.

Typical of an MLM business, there are various membership ranks that carry the names of the precious metals and stones such as bronze, gold, emerald, diamond, which designate your position in the organization.

There are bonuses and other payout schemes coming from such parameters as matching, matrices, and others.

I will not go into all the details of its marketing plan and compensation plan here as that is quite complicated.

The video is not the most entertaining video but if you consider joining it is very important you take the time to really understand their compensation plan thoroughly.

To give you a few examples in addition to the video:

As you can see in the sample illustration, the IMA who buys the 100 FND Product Package gets what the company calls Friends Bonus of 5% equivalent to 5 FND. Their sponsor, IMA labeled green, earns the Matching Bonus at 2.5 FND, which is 50% of the Friends Bonus.

This is just one of the commission and bonus schemes FutureNet has designed for its members. There are many others and you can find all of them in its marketing plan.

You can sense that much of the effort in designing the income potential is focused more on recruitment than on the sales of products.

Now that you know the ways of earning money, the more important concern on your mind must be how to get your commission.

How do you get your commission?

One thing is to know how you can earn but it is equally important to know how you can get your potential earnings to make sure it fits you before investing time and money.

All commissions and bonuses are paid in, as we mentioned earlier, a FutureNet money system called FutureNet dollar (FND) which is equivalent to a US dollar.

This FND is exchanged to an FN voucher, which can be used to redeem for the following:

• Goods and services of the company
• Cryptocurrency
• Purchasing codes

You read it right: you cannot get your commission in cash or through any popular electronic money transfer providers like PayPal. Instead, you are paid in FND which is converted to an FN voucher.

In addition to that, you cannot just buy anything you want with your commission. You only have three options to use your earnings for as listed above.

Another interesting feature of your commission is that it has an expiration date. Yes, the FN voucher has a validity of up to three years from the date of the issuance of commission.

Don’t you find it weird that you are required to spend your money within a certain period? That is not the most flexible system, in my opinion.

Things to consider before joining FutureNet

From what we just talked about, it is possible to earn some money from the company. Yet, it does not mean that this is the right company or platform for you.

So let’s go over some important points you need to consider before you buy one of the product packages:

Consideration #1 – Price of the products not worth their value

In my opinion, the price you’ll pay for the digital products is not worth it.

As explained earlier in this article, most, if not all, of the products are available online and can be accessed free of charge if you join other similar options.

In addition to this, many of the products they are trying to compete with are just better, in my opinion.

So, buying these products is potentially a waste of money unless you have a really good plan with it.

Consideration #2 – Warning from a government agency in Poland

Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has warned that the advertising platform of FutureNet, FutureAdpro, may be engaging in a pyramiding scheme.

Here’s the warning:

Official warnings like this is always something to consider and take seriously.

It does not mean it is a problem in your country but it could potentially be depending on where you live.

And if that is the case, you can end up spending a lot of time building a business and lose it all.

So warnings like this need to be taken seriously and you need to look into it in your particular country.

And no matter what, it is bad for the reputation of a company and this can make it more difficult for you to make it into a business.

Consideration #3 – Focus on Recruitment

As mentioned earlier the products of the company are generic ones and they can be readily accessed for free from other providers.

Therefore, the revenue coming from the sales of such products can be very difficult unless you are a really great salesperson. But as a beginner, it will be difficult.

So the majority of your earnings would likely come from registering more IMAs.

And recruiting more people is not easy as well even for more attractive companies with superb products and equally enticing earning potential. How much more for a company selling products that can be acquired for free in other places?

If you are a beginner in the business, that makes the work doubly hard.

Consideration #4 – Monthly subscription and add-on fees

As if the irrationality of the price of the products in relation to their functionalities is not enough, you are still required to keep buying monthly subscriptions to be considered an active IMA.

In addition, some products also require monthly subscriptions before you can use their services, such as the FuturoTrader, FN Power App, Support Premium and others.

Consideration #5 – Earnings have expiry dates

The money you earn from selling the products, recruiting more customers and members as well as being an active user of the company’s social media has an expiration.

This just seems very strange to me.

Why does it need to have an expiration date? I have rarely seen a business where you have an expiration date on your earnings.

This is definitely something to take into consideration so you make sure you get something out of your earnings before they expire.

Final Verdict

FutureNet can be a way for you to make money on the internet.

Through sales of its products, recruitment of more customers and IMAs, and activity on its social media platform, you can earn some amount.

There are, however, in my opinion, issues – some serious ones – about its products and operations that you have to look into carefully before you decide to sign up or consider other money-making options online.

So let’s end this review by listing down the pros and cons so you can get a better overview before deciding if it is the right option for you or not.

Pros:

• There is an opportunity to make money as an active IMA

 

 Cons:

• There are warnings from some governments about possible illicit activities
• You can only join through a sponsor
• More focus on recruitment
• Add-on fees and upsells
• Your income is only valid for a certain period

To sum it all up, FutureNet has the potential to be a part of your income online.

But with the issues and concerns that it is facing, you really have to think not only twice but many times before you decide to sign up or not, in my opinion.

Personally, I think there are better and more secure ways to make money online

But at least now you know what to consider and you can then make the right decision for you.
