If you want to make money as an affiliate marketer, it is important to find the right affiliate programs.
If you have a faith-based blog, website, or similar, you have quite a lot to choose from – but not all are equally good.
Therefore, I have here collected the 11 best Christian affiliate programs. They are, of course, all free to join.
In addition to this, you can also find some insights about the niche, the earning potential of it, the competition, and more.
This will help you find the right programs for you no matter the exact way you wish to promote Christian products and services online.
Can you make money with Christian affiliate programs?
Before we go into the best affiliate programs you can find, let’s first look at the potential of making money in the Christian niche.
To get an idea of the potential, I have used Google trends to check a few topics.
Below I have searched for a broad term “Christian products” to see the worldwide interest of searching online for this.
Even though it is not a more specific term than this, it shows quite a high interest. And the great thing is that the online interest is high all year round so that gives a lot of potentials as an affiliate.
And from here you can then go into more specific topics as well. Let’s try to look at one more – below I searched for the worldwide interest of Christian music.
This shows a very high interest year round.
So there is definitely a lot of searches for Christian related topics you could potentially monetize as an affiliate.
But you might be worried about the competition, so let’s also look into that so you can get some ideas.
Niche competition insights
A popular niche will always have quite a lot of competition.
But the opportunities online are so big that you, in general, should not let this scare you.
Often, it is just a matter of finding the right angle and a specific niche. And then you, of course, need to create great content so people find good and helpful info when they come to your site.
Personally, I think one of the best sources for long term results is to rank in the search engines. And if you find the right topics and keywords, this is definitely possible.
Let me give you a few examples of potential Christian keywords and topics you can go for, to get an idea. To find these, I have used my favorite keyword tool Jaaxy to get some data.
To just get started with some ideas, I searched for Christian music and the following data came up.
What you mainly need to look at here is the AVG which is the average monthly searches (should preferably be above 80), the QSR which is the quoted search results/the competition (should preferable be below 100 for newer sites), and then KQI which is the quality index so that should preferably be green.
The main term “Christian music” is likely a bit too competitive depending on the authority of your site. But if you have a great keyword tool, it will at the same time give you a lot of other related suggestions.
Above I only show a small part of the suggestions that came up when I searched with Jaaxy. There were many more ideas.
But already here you get several great potential keywords. And many more you could then look deeper into to get even more ideas.
Christian music lyrics is, for example, a great topic and it could actually be a whole niche site on its own.
Further down on the list, which you cannot see on the image, I also had great keywords like Christian music tours (avg 120, QSR 97), Christian music for children (avg 79, QSR 88), and many more.
I also did one more search to get even more ideas. This time I tried to search for something quite different – that is “Christian dating”.
Here you can see many more ideas.
These are just a few examples and with just a few minutes of research, it was possible to find quite a lot of keywords and topic ideas with pretty high volume and low competition.
So overall being an affiliate for Christian programs definitely has potential.

Final thoughts
If you have a Christian and faith-based website, blog, or a Christian audience in general, there are plenty of ways you can earn commissions through affiliate marketing, as you can see above.
Not only are there many great Christian affiliate programs, but there is also a great online interest and some great keywords you could potentially rank for if you want to get traffic by ranking in the search engines.
I hope this article and list has helped you get some ideas and see the potential to make the most out of the Christian niche.
If you have any comments, questions, or know of an affiliate program you think belongs on the list, I would love to hear from you in a comment below.
Honor, integrity, and honesty is what I am looking for here. I want credible Christian-based education to affiliate marketing.
Why? Because Christianity is all I know. I want to spread the message of Jesus Christ, and support my family. I operate a non-profit church now, however, I do not wish to receive money for preaching.
I have no intentions of getting rich….If I did I would give the extra money to homeless people and prostitutes.
I am looking to make about $500 a week in the first year with a dedication time of 30 plus hours a week.
How much is the wealthy affiliate going to cost in the first year? I am told $50 a month and $15 per website up to ten sites?
Is there any other costs involved here…..
Please be brutally honest….I need to know exactly what I need to succeed.
K E N
Wealthy Affiliate will cost $19 for the first month and after that $49 per month. But you can also choose to pay yearly and then you get 2 months for free.
And as you mention, you will then pay around $15 per year if you want a customized domain.
The beauty of Wealthy Affiliate as a beginner is that you actually do not need to invest in anything else to start an online business. I started this way myself and did not pay for anything extra the first year. Because you will get training, hosting, research tools, support, etc. included in the price.
Hope this helps and just let me know if you have any other questions.
