downline farm review headerDownline Farm claims to be a platform where your income grows automatically and where you cannot fail.

However, when it comes to online money making programs it is better to be careful so you know exactly what you get before joining.

So is Downline Farm a scam or it is really a legit opportunity?

I must admit I was skeptical when I saw the claims on the site but I decided to join and have a look at what it really offers.

In this Downline Farm review, you will get all the details so you know exactly what to expect and can easily find out if it will be worth your time or not.

Summary

The idea behind Downline Farm can at first seem very appealing. You can use it to grow your downline for your favorite affiliate program and at the same time earn money inside the platform – the more people you invite, the more you earn.

You can join for free and the upgraded membership is quite cheap. But the platform is overall very confusing, and you can easily end up spending a lot of time without getting much in return, in my opinion.

I simply do not see the need for a platform like this to help you grow your downline on other platforms. It seems like an unnecessary extra step – and you need to know this is the main point of Downline Farm. It is NOT a platform where you are meant to be able to make a full-time income on the platform itself.

For these reasons (and more you can see in the full review below), it is not as such a platform I can recommend as a good option to make money online.

What is Downline Farm and what does it offer?

When you first come to Downline Farm, it can be a bit confusing to find out exactly what it offers.

On the website, you can just see a lot of claims about how great an income system it is but not much information about how it really works.

downline farm income claims

It is difficult to see exactly what Downline Farm offers at first.

So you can just see these claims but other than that the whole website is very confusing to look at.

However, since it is free to join, I decided to give it a go and joined to see what it really offers on the inside.

Let me just reveal right away that when you have logged in, the website is still VERY confusing and it is still not easy to figure out exactly how you are supposed to make good money here – especially not if you are new to making money online.

But below I will go over the main ways you can use Downline Farm and the earning methods and options it offers, so you can get a good overview and know what you are getting into if you decide to join.

Option 1 – Training PDF’s

Honestly, I find Downline Farm to be a very confusing platform and when you first join it is likely you have no idea where to start and what it offers.

They have tried to make it easier for you to get started by providing some training PDFs. In the members area, you can find these in the “Downloads” tab.

Here you will see several options.

Some of the training PDFs you get for free.

The main PDF that shows how to use Downline Farm is the file called “EZ Free Biz Promotion (The Downline Farm User Guide)”.

This is supposed to teach you step-by-step how you can earn on Downline Farm.

It does give you an overview, but I must say that it was not the most user-friendly “training” I have seen and you will likely still not exactly know what to expect from Downline Farm.

So below we will go more into how it actually works and the earning options there.

Let me just finish the training section by saying that you can actually find quite a few PDF’s – the image above just shows examples but there are a few more than this.

They are mainly about different methods to promote online. Some of the PDF’s are quite long.

They do not have any revolutionary info from what I have seen, but some of the info is decent. If you have some experience with internet marketing, you will likely find them superficial.

And they will not really help you to make good money as they do not show all the details about how to make it work step-by-step. But as an introduction to certain topics, they have some useful information.

Option 2 – Build your downline

The claims about your income growing automatically come from this option.

You are supposed to build your downline. This means you need to get other people to join Downline Farm and then from there you can promote other programs and build your downline in those – I guess that is where the name comes from:-)

This will help you earn in different ways as you will earn commissions from your referrals’ activity on Downline Farm and as you are supposed to be able to recruit a lot of people for other programs you promote there as well.

The “Downline builder” is what you need to use to build your downline in other programs. Here you can add programs you want to promote and when people then join, they will see these options.

So if you are working with affiliate marketing and have a program you want to promote, you can add it here.

The idea is then that hopefully, other members will think it looks interesting and join so you earn commissions from that program as well.

In that way, you will both earn commissions on your referrals’ activity on Downline farm itself but also get the chance to promote other platforms to them and thereby earn more.

However, I must say that I am not convinced how well this will work.

Downline Farm is full of ads and promotions for all kinds of programs so it will likely be difficult to get a lot of sign-ups, in my opinion. But it definitely is possible you will get some and earn some extra money.

Personally, based on my experience as a full-time affiliate marketer, I do not really see this as a sustainable way to make money with affiliate marketing even though they claim it is an easy way to make sales.

But let’s also look into some of the other options you have on the platform.

Option 3 – Generate traffic

To be able to make any money by promoting any kind of product or platform online, you need some kind of traffic.

Downline Farm has a section called traffic exchange that is supposed to help you with this.

A big part of the training PDF is about this and explains why they think it is a good idea. In the traffic exchange section on the website, you can then find links to several of these options.

downline traffic exchange examples

You find several traffic exchange options in the members area.

So the idea is that you should join some of these traffic exchange programs and start surfing sites there to earn credit and then start promoting Downline Farm on these platforms to build your downline.

You are also told that ideally, you should eventually start buying credits on the traffic exchange platforms to make it more effective.

However, I am not a big fan of these types of traffic exchange programs as the traffic you get from them usually is low-quality.

You can read more about this in my EasyHits4U review, which is one of the platforms advertised on Downline Farm as you can see on the image above.

In addition to joining some of these traffic exchange programs, you are also able to add your own affiliate link for these sites in Downline Farm so if the people you end up referring should buy, you can earn commissions for that.

So there are several ways to earn but it all comes down to you having to invite a lot of people to Downline Farm and be willing to use and promote the services promoted there yourself.

Option 4 – Other income programs

Downline Farm has a few more sections with other income programs, as they call it.

The three sections are called “Income Programs”, “Bitcoin & Crypto”, and “PTC and Surveys”.

This is where you can find promotions of other earning options. Some of them might be interesting to you, but there is also a lot of programs I would personally stay far away from.

In addition to being able to join these programs through affiliate links of other members, you can also here add your own promotions.

So if you want to promote any kind of income program (as long as it is legal), you can add it in the “Income Program” section. If you are a member of a Bitcoin site you want to promote, you can add that is that section, etc.

How do you get paid on Downline Farm?

So the above options are how you can earn on Downline Farm.

But to make it more clear what the main idea behind the platform is and why they claim you can build a good income, you need to understand the commission structure of Downline Farm.

There are 4 income streams:

  • Referral Commissions
  • Profit Sharing Pool
  • Matching Bonus
  • Commissions From 3rd Party Programs

The Referral Commissions means you get 10% of all Downline subscriptions bought by people you invite.

The Profit Sharing Pool is a pool where 25% of the revenue from subscriptions and product sales are placed. Those funds are divided into the total number of shares earned by all members.

How many shares you get depends if you are a gold member or free member (more about the membership options later) and on how many people you have referred to the site. You can see the exact shares on the website if you decide to join.

Also, you can qualify to get what they call “Seniority Share Multiplier”. If you refer more than 250 people, you qualify for this. Depending on how many more you invite, your shares will be multiplied by a number and thereby increase your earnings.

The Matching Bonus is a bonus you get depending on your membership type.

Gold Members get a 100% Matching Bonus on Profit Share earnings of your personally referred Affiliates. (e.g. if they earn $10, you earn $10). Free Members get a 10% Matching Bonus on Profit Share earnings of your personally referred Affiliates.

The Commissions from 3rd Party Programs is an important aspect to understand. This is the main program you want to promote through Downline Farm and add the places you can there.

According to the site itself, the goal is not that you will become rich from Downline Farm itself. It is mainly a downline builder that is supposed to help you grow your downline in your main affiliate program.

My top recommended program, in general, is, for example, Wealthy Affiliate. So if I decided to use Downline Farm actively, my main goal should be to grow my downline there and not to make a living on Downline Farm itself.

This is very important to understand exactly what the point of Downline Farm is.

Who can join?

You can join Downline Farm from any country.

However, as you can see from the above the main purpose of Downline Farm is to build your downline of another affiliate program.

So to get the most out of the site, it is a good idea to find a main program you want to promote if you want to join Downline Farm.

To know if it, in general, will be worth it, you, however, first need to know about the pricing and a few other things you need to consider.

Downline Farm price

As mentioned earlier, Downline Farm has both a free membership option and a Gold membership.

I have briefly mentioned some of the differences already in this review but below you can see a chart from the website that explains the full differences.

downline farm membership options

The differences between the free and Gold membership.

It is clear that if you like the idea behind Downline Farm, then you get a lot more benefits from the Gold membership.

The Gold membership is $7 per month so it is not an expensive membership.

However, that it is not expensive does not mean it will necessarily be worth it.

Is it worth it?

The investment in Downline Farm is not high but you can end up spending a lot of time so you need to know if it will be worth it or not.

In my opinion, I can see how Downline Farm potentially can help you build your downline in your main affiliate program.

However, when you think about it, it might not be the best approach.

It does not sound very effective to join Downline Farm and spend a lot of time promoting that to grow you downline there to hopefully get people that join to also join your main program.

Would it not be more effective to just promote your main affiliate program right away? It seems like an unnecessary extra step, in my opinion.

I know many people fail with affiliate marketing and therefore are willing to try all kinds of platforms and traffic generation methods to make it work.

But I am honestly not convinced this is the best way to do it.

However, if you are completely new to internet marketing the PDFs are available freely as soon as you just join as a free member so they might give you some basic information.

But you should not really rely on them to teach you the whole process of making money online.

Final verdict

Downline Farm does have some potential and it could in theory work.

But it is not necessarily the best approach.

To get a better overview before you decide to join or not, let’s, therefore, finish this review by summing up the pros and cons.

prosPros:

  • Has free membership option
  • PDF training is freely available
  • You can, in theory, make money on the site

consCons:

  • Not very user-friendly
  • Confusing how to use the platform and get started
  • You have to refer a lot of people to really earn
  • Seems like an unnecessary extra step to get referrals

I can see how the idea behind Downline Farm could make sense at first. It is very cheap and you can earn on the platform itself in various ways.

It is, however, so confusing to use that it is difficult to get an exact idea about how big the potential is and how much you would have to spend on traffic generation to see results.

And the site itself, clearly says where they describe the commission structure that your goal should not be to become rich but you should see it mainly as a way to build your downline for your main affiliate program.

In my opinion, it, therefore, does not make much sense to join Downline Farm. Why would you spend a lot of time, effort, and potentially money to promote Downline Farm and then from there hope some people will also join your main program?

Does it not make more sense to learn proper affiliate marketing and then just promote your main affiliate program right away? It definitely makes more sense, in my opinion.

Therefore, Downline Farm is not really a platform I can recommend. But if you still have doubts, it is free to join so you can check it out for yourself.
