It is possible for you to find jobs in almost any category on Airtasker and almost no matter the skills you have.

But you need to make sure you join with the right expectations if you decide to try it out.

An important part of this is to know exactly what you can expect in terms of earnings.

To get a better idea of this, you need to understand how Airtasker works.

After you join and set up your profile, you can browse through the available tasks in your skill areas.

Once you have found tasks you are interested in, you need to make an offer.

After you find a relevant task, you need to make an offer.

This means that you cannot just say yes to any job available on the platform.

You need to give an offer to the person who is looking for a tasker and tell what your price will be and why you will be good at the job.

This is understandable, but as a tasker, this also means you are not guaranteed to find any jobs. It depends on the competition so to say.

But you have to remember that there is also no guarantee there will be any available tasks. It depends on where you live and which tasks are posted in that area.

Sometimes there might be a lot of tasks available and other times there might not be any.

It definitely gives flexibility to be a worker on Airtasker but you just have to be aware that there is no guarantee for any specific earnings and it will NOT be fast and easy money.

But if you go into it with the right expectations, it can potentially be a great way to make money doing things you like doing.

Who can join?

Airtasker is not available in all countries.

It is only available in Australia, the UK, and Ireland.

So you go to the website for your specific country and then you can search for available tasks in a certain area.

However, you can also use the search function and look for remote jobs.

The remote jobs are also only for your own country.

This will make it a bit more flexible depending on your skills as it will not limit your options to only your local area.

For some skills, it, of course, does not make sense to look for the remote jobs. But if you, for example, are a web developer or graphic designer, you might as well work remotely.

From what I can see, Airtasker is, however, not the best platform to find remote jobs like this. If that is what you are looking for, a freelance portal like Fiverr will give you more opportunities.

Also, you have to be aware that even for the remote jobs, you have to be located in the same country and have local working rights there.

Airtasker has only replied to a few of the Trustpilot complaints. A good answer says a lot about a company and when there are many that are not commented on at all, it does indicate that the support might not always be fast at responding.

However, I also want to mention that there are many people that have posted about great experiences with the company, so it definitely is a platform where you can earn – you just need to be aware that it might at times take a bit of patience if you need support.

Airtasker is a legit way to earn some extra money.

However, this does not mean it will necessarily be the best option for you to create a job where you can be your own boss.
