Making money while you sleep sounds like a dream, right?
Well, it does not have to just be a dream.
It is actually possible to create a set-up where this is possible – I know, as I have been able to achieve this myself.
However, there is a lot of poor info out there about how it is possible to make money while sleeping and there are a lot of scams promising this as well just to take your money.
In this article, I will, therefore, show you the reality about how this works, what it requires from you, answer some of the most frequently asked questions about how to achieve this, and I will share the exact method I have used to achieve it myself.
Is it even possible to earn while sleeping?
There is a lot of scams out there trying to convince you how easy you can make money 24/7 if you just invest in their system.
So to help you avoid these scams, I just want to start with a reality check about earning while sleeping.
Let me just start by saying that it definitely is possible to achieve this. And I am not talking about signing up for some research project where you get paid to be measured while sleeping for a few nights.
I am talking about a sustainable way you can create an income while sleeping and whenever you do other things as well.
But there are a lot of empty promises about how this is possible. I have previously written a whole article about the myths and realities of creating a passive income.
I here just want to go over one of the biggest myths as this is very important in relation to start making money while you sleep.
The reality is that it will NOT happen overnight and it does NOT mean you will never have to work.
There are plenty of systems that promise this. But in reality, they are usually just out to get your money but will never deliver on their promises.
In reality, you will still need to continuously put in some work, and you will need to be a bit patient to get everything rolling.
But if you are willing to do this, it is definitely possible to create a setup where you can earn 24/7 – and it is even possible to do no matter your previous experience and background.
So let’s now go over my top recommended way to make this happen and how I, myself, earn every night while sleeping (and also when I do not sleep).
How I earn every night (#1 recommendation)
There are different ways it is possible to earn 24/7 – the way that has worked for me is to create an online income.
One of the great benefits of an online income is that the Internet never sleeps.
There is always somebody in some part of the world using the internet and searching for info, services, and products – this means that with the right setup, it is possible to create an income while you are sleeping.
In addition to this, working online means you can work exactly where and when you want to. And with the right approach and training, it is something everyone can learn – it does not require you to be a technical genius or have any special sales skills.
Also, it can be done without any risks, if you do it right (more about this later).
These are some of the reasons working online is my top recommended way to create an income, and the way I have chosen to build an income myself.
My preferred way is through what is called affiliate marketing, and this is how I make a full-time income myself.
The way it, in short, works is that you find a topic you are interested in, you create a website/channel about it, you get traffic to that website, and it will then be possible to convert that traffic into income.

With affiliate marketing, you get paid every time someone visits your website and follows your recommendations. You get paid a commission for referring people to certain products and services that are beneficial to them.
This means you can choose a topic you are passionate about and earn money by teaching other people about it – that is a great thing about affiliate marketing.
It is something everyone can learn, and as already mentioned, you do not need any special technical skills to make this happen.

The above is, of course, a bit superficial and shortly explained, but it really is a simple process. What takes work is then to set it up and keep it running.
If you do this the correct way, there will always be visitors on your website – this means you will be earning 24/7 and even when you are asleep.
How long will it take to start earning?
One question I very often hear is how quickly it is possible to start earning money online through this method.
Well, honestly there is no exact answer. It, first of all, depends a lot on the effort you are willing to out into building it.
One thing that is sure is that it will NOT happen overnight and without any effort.
There are programs that promise this, but please stay away from these. This is not only when it comes to affiliate marketing, but be very careful about any program that promises fast and easy money.
It is NOT realistic to have a system do all the work for you or become rich overnight.
This is just simply not how it works to create an online income. It will require some work, and like with everything else in life, it takes some time to learn a new skill.
For some, it might take a few months to start earning and for others, it might take a year. It depends on the effort, the niche you have chosen, and more – but the freedom that comes with it is, in my opinion, definitely worth the effort.
How much money can you earn like this?
An amazing thing about an online income is that it does not really have a limit. You can keep growing depending on the time and effort you are willing to put in.
And it can grow quite fast compared to starting any other kind of business and compared to how long you usually have to work in a regular job to get a raise.
Personally, I now make a full-time income online and every morning when I get up, I have made money while I was sleeping.
I have worked hard to get there, but it is an amazing feeling to get up and see this passive income during the night.
Some mornings when I wake up, I have made less than $50 overnight and other nights I have made $150 or more. And I still have a lot more work I can do to expand and a lot of potential for growth.
The sky really is the limit – but it is also very important to remember that it does not happen automatically. It will only happen if you are willing to make an effort and it is very important and that is why I keep saying this.
It will only happen if you go into it with the right attitude and are willing to make an effort to make it work – remember that no matter what kind of fancy secret method someone will try to sell you.
Are there any risks involved?
An amazing thing about affiliate marketing and starting an online income is that it can be done without any risks. You cannot say that about many other kinds of businesses.
There are other ways to earn online – you can, for example, do Forex trading, stock trading, start a webshop, and more.
These ways can definitely make good money, but they require quite a bit of risk and in some cases a big investment as well.
That is not the case with affiliate marketing. Because you do not sell your own products, you do need to invest in storage and you do not need to bet any money.
Over time, it can definitely help you grow your income to do some investments, but when you first start out, you can start building with a very minimum investment – in fact, later I will show you how you can get started completely for free. That was the same way I started.
