The creator of this program is Mark Barret who will also tell you that you can just copy and paste his system to create a reliable income online.

You may have visited the site, and the claims might have caught your attention. But since there are scams on the web, you want to know if this program is the real deal.

So, is the 5 Minute Money Machines a scam or can it provide you a long-term income online?

What is 5 Minute Money Machines and what does it offer?

According to its creator, Mark Barrett, the 5 Minute Money Machines is a system that has helped him generate thousands of dollars online.

He also claims you only need to copy and paste his method and that will only take 5 minutes.

Also, the way he presents his product gives you an impression that it’s a done-for-you system where you only set up the system once, and it will generate recurring income for you on a monthly basis.

Honestly, I NOT a fan of automated systems since it’s something you can’t rely on in the long run, and together with a copy and paste mentality it is the perfect road to failure.

This program also uses solo ads which is a marketing strategy used by several online marketers to promote a product or service.

Most online marketers consider solo ads as a bit risky because in this method you’ll need to contact other business owners or third parties to buy a big list of subscribers from them. Then you’ll use that list to promote your affiliate links.

With 5 Minute Money Machines, you’ll promote an affiliate marketing platform called Wealthy Affiliate, so when the people you redirected to the WA site signs up for free, they become your referral.

In my opinion, WA is the most profitable affiliate program on the web today, and it is also the same platform I’ve used to create a full-time income.

Although Wealthy Affiliate is an excellent training platform where you can learn how to build blogs, niche sites,  affiliate sites and monetize them through affiliate marketing, I do honestly not agree with many of the things 5 Minute Money Machines tells you about it.

I do not think it is the full truth, and I think there are some things you need to know before joining.

5 Minute Money Machines red flags

When I first visited 5 Minute Money Machine, I already knew from the start that Mark uses hype to promote his product.

It’s also apparent that some of the claims on their sales page, seems too good to be true, so I did my homework and conducted some in-depth research on their sales page.

Here are some of the red flags I’ve uncovered from their site that I think you should know about before you decide to join this program.

Red flag #1 – They want you to use solo ads

The first issue I have with this program is the strategy they want you to use, which is solo ads which, for me, is a risky method to use in any type of affiliate marketing campaign.

In this method, you are required to buy a list from other online marketers, and that can be expensive, and you don’t even know the origin of the list you’re buying. Not to mention that it often doesn’t convert well enough to generate profits for you.

In short, using this strategy might lead you to lose more money than profits, so it’s NOT the best strategy to use, in my opinion.

Also, using this method requires some technical skills, which most beginners don’t have.

Therefore, it is NOT advisable to use this method when you’re still a beginner, because you won’t have the skills to execute a campaign like this properly.

Although some online marketers have successfully used solo ads, most of the time people are just wasting a lot of money on this method.

That’s why you need to be aware that it will NOT magically generate money for you.

So, if you decide to use this method, you’ll need to at least train yourself to get the results that you’re looking for and make sure you do it ethically. And have a budget for buying the solo ads.

This means you’ll need to acquire the contact details of your subscriber through your own opt-in form.

Red flag #2 – Expect upsells

It’s free to join this program, but once you join it you’ll be greeted with the first upgrade, which will cost you $14.95, but that’s just the fee to access their training content.

Once you’re in the inside, you’ll see several upsells that will enable you to access more advanced training about solo ads.

• Upsell #1 ($37) – Five Minute Money Machines
• Upsell #2 ($47) – five Minute Money machines Upgrade 2

It seems the first upgrade has an affordable price, but that’s just its initial cost, and you will see several upsells once you paid for the initial fee.

The red flag here is the lack of transparency from its creator since the upsells should have been fully explaining and revealed on the sales video.

If you have watched the sales video, they only said that there would be upgrades that will make the entire process easier, but they haven’t revealed the price of these upgrades.

That’s why you need to be aware that these upgrades will cost you money more than your initial payment of $14.95.

Red flag #3 – Mark is using hype to bring your closer to his program

According to Mark, you can earn $1,000 with just 5 minutes of work, which, in my opinion, is unrealistic.

Honestly, you’re unlikely to make $1,000 in profits by just sending affiliate links via solo ads, and it’s also expensive, so you might need to spend $2,000 or even more, but still, there’s NO guarantee that you can profit $1,000.

This means Mark is just using hype to bring your closer to his program and give you an impression that you can actually earn a lot of money with minimal efforts only.

In my opinion, no matter how good the claims are on the sales video, there’s no way for you to easily make $1,000 with minimal efforts.

In fact, it takes more than that to succeed in affiliate marketing, because you’ll also need to invest your time, effort and a bit of patience since it will take time.

There’s no way around it, and you can’t get rich overnight, so when you see claims that it’s possible to earn a lot of money with just 5 minutes of work, I urge you to be skeptical and conduct your own research about that program before joining.

Red flag #4 – There are no legal pages on their site

Another red flag that I would like to point out is the lack of legal pages on their site.

We all know that legit websites will have legal pages that are usually placed at the bottom of their homepage.

However, these pages are NOT present on 5 Minute Money Machines site, which, in my opinion, is something to worry about.

Since legal pages like privacy policy, terms and conditions, and income disclaimers must always be present on a website especially if it is selling a product.

You’ll need to know the policies and terms that a business owner or company follow, and these are stated in these legal pages.

Another important thing to consider is the personal details (first name, last name, and email) that you’ve provided them when you first join the program. You’ll need to know how they are going to use your details.

But since they have no privacy policy, you’re not sure what they will do with your data.

Although I’m not saying that they will sell your details to third parties, but their lack of transparency is a bit disappointing since there is then some risks involved in joining this program.

That is why you need to this red flag seriously before you decide to join their program.

Red flag #5 – Superficial training

I joined the free version of 5 Minute Money Machine to see what training it offers.

It was honestly very disappointing.

It is a total of around 19 minutes of superficial video training where he mostly just tries to convince you how easy it is to make money online by signing up for programs through his affiliate link so he can earn commissions.

The training itself is, in my opinion, not anything that will teach you any real steps to make money online.

You cannot learn that in just 20 minutes of video. Sorry to disappoint you but you need to be aware of this and know that it takes more time to learn than this.

It definitely is possible to learn to make money online from scratch but NOT in just 20 minutes of superficial video training.

Final Verdict – legit or scam?

I have provided you with all the info and red flags that I found. I think you are now more capable of making an informed decision about this product.

So, is 5 Minute Money Machines a scam or a program that can help you make a decent income online?

Honestly, your answer will always depend on your perspective and budget, because if you see any value in the claims and promises that Mark made on his sales video and the training he provides, then this program might be for you.

• The training is VERY superficial

As for me, I don’t recommend this program due to the red flags I’ve uncovered from their sales page.

Honestly, the most significant red flag for me is that you’re told you only need to invest 5 minutes of work per day to succeed in this program. This claim is just a hype to bring you closer to the program.

Another red flag is that they want you to use solo ads in promoting your affiliate link, which, in my opinion, is risky because this will require you to buy a list from business owners. And that can be both risky and expensive on your part.

Lastly, the training you actually get after you join is VERY superficial and is mostly focused around getting you to sign up for other programs through Marks affiliate link so he can make money like this.

Even though the products Mark wants you to sign up for in his “training” are actually legit, I would suggest that you look for other great opportunities online that can provide you with the results that you’re looking for, as 5 Minute Money Machines does not teach anything of real value, in my opinion.

My recommended alternative…

I was honestly a bit confused when testing 5 Minute Money Machines because Mark is trying to get you to sign up for Wealthy Affiliate, which is my top recommended way to learn to make money online and how I have learned to create a full-time income myself.

However, I very strongly disagree with the methods Mark uses. He indicates that you can earn thousands of dollars easily with just a few minutes of work. This is NOT how it really works. And Wealthy Affiliate says the exact opposite.

It is a learning platform that teaches you real skills and all the time makes you aware that you will not become rich overnight, so it was honestly difficult for me to see the platform promoted like this as it is clear Mark is just trying to say whatever will make you sign up so he can earn commissions.

I have been a very active member of Wealthy Affiliate myself for years, and I know all it has to offer and what it does not offer. It is a really great platform but you need to know what you are getting into and not think it will make you a lot of money overnight as a beginner.
