We can probably agree that we all want a lot of traffic to our websites, and preferably quickly.
So is MaxVisits a fast, cheap, and effective way to boost your traffic?
In this MaxVisits review I will go into all the details about what you can expect from this site. I am not writing this to advise you to go for it, or to advise you to stay away from the site.
I wish to give you some perspective and some things to think about to find out, if it is the right solution for you, before you spend any money. If you decide it is the right solution for you, I will also give you some advise about how to make sure you get as much as possible out of the traffic you pay for.
MaxVisits at a Glance
MaxVisits offers fairly cheap traffic to your website. Depending on you strategy, it can have potential, but you have to consider it carefully before buying any traffic. Make sure you know what you are doing, and what your plan is – if not, you can potentially end up wasting your money and hurting your site.
What is MaxVisits and what kind of traffic does it offer?
In short, MaxVisits is a website where you can order traffic to your own website. The site claims that you will only get high-quality traffic and for a low price. Your can just simply decide how much traffic you want and then order it. Sounds like a dream to anyone with a website right?
So let’s look into what kind of traffic you can order. To be honest, MaxVisits can be quite confusing to navigate and to figure out exactly what kind of traffic you should go for, if you decide it is for you. But I have tried to give an overview below, so it will be easier for you.
The main service of MaxVisits is to give your website traffic. They say that they have a big number of websites and domain names that attract thousands of visitors a day. The traffic you order will then be redirected to your website according to your needs and your niche.
MaxVisits also offers pop-under traffic. Pop-under traffic/ads are similar to the well-known pop-up ads. The difference is however that the pop-ups comes up in front of the content the visitor is viewing. A pop-under ad open in the background, and in that sense does not disturb the same way. It can however seem very intrusive that you suddenly realize that several ads has opened in the background, and you do not known where they are coming from – or at least that is my experience.
If you order this kind of traffic with MaxVisits, you website or ad will open in the background of the websites in MaxVisits’ network.
Your can choose to only buy adult traffic (18+) from MaxVisits, if you have a website that is only for people above 18 years. The traffic will be delivered as a full-page pop-under on the websites in MaxVisits’ network.
If you prefer mobile traffic, you can choose to only buy this from MaxVisits. The traffic will be delivered in the way that MaxVisits will place an iframe on domains/websites in their networks. Your website will then be loaded/shown in this frame.
MaxVisits also offers a service that is meant to boost your Alexa rank. Your will get a file to upload to your website, and this will help boost your rank. It is meant to be a way to boost your rankings and thereby get more organic traffic from search engines. Like with any technique to quickly boost your rankings and cheat the search engines, you have to be careful, but I will go more into this later in this article.
The services above are MaxVisits’ main services, but how cheap is this kind of traffic then? That is what we will look at now.
What does traffic from MaxVisits cost?
The prices for the traffic on MaxVisits depend on the kind of traffic you want, and the amount you want. The more traffic you buy at the same time, the cheaper it gets. In general, the mobile traffic is the most expensive, and the regular website traffic is the cheapest.
At the moment of writing this review, you can for example buy 10,000 website visits for $11.98 (which is the minimum amount). For mobile traffic, the lowest amount you can buy is 5,000 visits for a price of $12.98. Pop-under traffic is $8.98 for 5,000 visits and the same is adult traffic.
Your should however check the prices on the website itself, if you are interested, as they can change. As mentioned, the more traffic you buy, the cheaper it gets. The minimum is 5,000-10,000 depending on the type of traffic, and you can then buy up to 400,000 visits (which will give you 25% off). Your can decide yourself how quickly the traffic should be delivered from 1 day to 90 days.
Get free trial traffic:
MaxVisits offers a free trial of 5,000 website visitors (US untargeted visitors). To get this, you have to mention them on your website, or give a link to MaxVisits from your website, and then apply for the free trial.
That means that I for example could apply, because I have written this review. I am however not going to, as I am not interested in 5,000 untargeted visitors, as that can potentially hurt my site more than help it (I will explain more about that below). But if you want to give MaxVisits a try, this can be a way to do it for free. Personally, I do however think it would be a better idea to pay a little and then be able to test the targeted traffic, if you really want to try it. If the traffic is not targeted, you have no way to really know, if it is worth it or not.
Does traffic from MaxVisits convert?
What really matters about any kind of traffic is, if it converts (if it turns in to customers). So does traffic from MaxVisits convert? That is a very good question that is difficult to answer.
MaxVisits does not guarantee that the traffic will convert. They only guarantee that you will get the traffic, you have ordered. And there are also many things that comes in to play when it comes to conversion rate, so of course they cannot guarantee that.
But what does other users say about the quality of the traffic then? I have had a look at MaxVisits on Trustpilot, and the results here are not very helpful. There are quite a lot of very good reviews, and also a lot of very bad reviews. The thing is that even though Truspilot is a very good site, reviews are easy to fake. It is easy to order very positive reviews of any service, and it is also easy to order very bad reviews, if you are a competitor. So when looking at reviews like that, you should be aware that some might be exaggeratedly positive and some exaggeratedly negative.
So I do not have any precise answer for this. One thing I can say is however that there are certain things you can do to increase your chances of conversions, which I will go in to below.
Can you use it to earn commissions on AdSense?
In relation to conversions, there is one specific topics I want to cover. As you are probably aware, many people use AdSense on their website (ads where you get a commission when people click on them), and maybe you are doing this yourself.
It can be a great way to earn a little extra, but to make any real money, you need a lot of traffic. So it could be tempting to buy a lot of cheap traffic and hope many of the visitors will then click your ads.
Before doing that, you have to be aware that MaxVisits itself says you have to be careful about this is their FAQ section. They cannot guarantee that the traffic you get will be safe for you AdSense account, meaning that you could end up losing the right to use it.
Therefore, you have to be very careful about buying traffic, if your goal is to make money from AdSense with that traffic.
How to get the most out of your traffic (if you decide to buy)
If you decide that you want to give it a go and buy traffic on MaxVisits, there are a few things you need to make sure to consider to increase the chance of success. However, you also have to be aware of the potential dangers of buying traffic like this, before you decide to go in that direction, so make sure to check out my advice about this below.
Get targeted traffic:
Your have the chance to buy targeted traffic on MaxVisits. Exactly how targeted it is, is difficult to say, but at least you should try to make it as targeted as possible. If you just gets random traffic, it might be cheaper, but there is also a very small chance that you will actually get anything out of the traffic.
Make precise and targeted landing pages:
According to your target audience, you should make sure that the page they land on is very precise and appealing. Make it very clear what is in it for them to stay on your site. Consider making specific landing pages for specific audiences and make them as targeted a possible. That can increase your chances of getting the most out of the traffic you have paid for.
Make sure to test small. Do not buy 200,000 visitors all at once. Test with the cheapest amount possible and see what you get out of the traffic. Then you do not risk so much, and you can always buy more, if you find out it works well for you.
Are there any dangers in buying traffic?
I have hinted at it a few times already – there are some dangers when buying traffic like this, and before you decide to buy or not to buy, you should at least be aware of these dangers.
One of the biggest dangers is to potentially hurt you rankings in Google or other search engines, if a part of your strategy is to get organic traffic. First, you have to understand a little about how search engines work. A part of the algorithm is to look at how people behave, when they come to your site. For example how many pages do they visit, how long do they stay at your site etc. If you get a huge amount of traffic, and they all leave your site quickly, it is not a good signal, and it can in that way potentially hurt your organic rankings.
Also, depending on the amount of traffic you are planning to buy, you have to make sure the webhost you are using can deal with that amount of traffic. If you suddenly send a huge amount of traffic to your site and the hosting company cannot deal with it, then your site can potentially crash.
Another danger is that you do not really know what kind of traffic you are going to get, so you can potentially end up wasting your money. This can of course be tested by buying a smaller amount of traffic first to test. It therefore does not have to be risky, and you can test is fairly cheap.
The option about boosting your Alexa rank to potentially boost your search engine rankings sound a bit risky to me. Any attempt to manipulate Google’s algorithm comes with a risk. I know many people do it and have success with it in different ways, but it is also with the risk that Google suddenly figures out what is going on and penalizes you. So whether it is worth the risk or not is of course up to you and depends on your overall strategy.
As you can see, there are some dangers in buying traffic like this. Especially if you want to eventually build up high rankings on google and other search engines. If you have a completely different strategy, the risk might not be so high, but now at least you known what to consider before deciding.
Whether it is worth it or not to buy traffic from MaxVisits depends a lot on your overall strategy with your website.
Personally, I prefer going for more organic traffic and building out quality content (you can learn more about this effective approach at the platform Wealthy Affiliate). It does take some more patience, but in the long run, it really pays of.
Before deciding to buy cheap traffic to get a quick boost for your website remember one important thing – in online business there are rarely any quick fixes that are good long term solutions. It takes patience to build a good and solid online business.
I am not saying you should not buy traffic and test it. It might be a very good solution for you, depending on your strategy. But just be aware of the risk and make sure to start with a small test.
If you have any experiences with MaxVisits yourself, I would love to hear about them in a comment below. Also, if you have any questions, just leave a comment below, and I will be more than happy to answer.
